Village chronicler Peter Vogel recently kept a rich treasure trove of historical documents and records on the history of Oberdiessbach in his house. He recently handed this treasure over to the municipal archive. This is typical of him, as he never kept his knowledge to himself. In countless lectures and guided tours, he always enthralled a large audience with the history of our village. The same happened with his students during his time as a primary school teacher at the Oberdiessbach secondary school (1975 to 2002).
