Daniel and Eva, with a passion for craftsmanship and design. In our studio, we create hand-bound books, special paper products, and workshops all about bookbinding.

We work with care, high-quality materials, and a great love for detail. Direct exchange with people, whether in a course, in conversation, or when developing new ideas, is particularly important to us.

The name Atelier 1818 is, by the way, a homage to the house in which we work: It was built in 1818 and was once the business premises of the cloth merchant Siegfried.

Museums Service

Atelier 1818 designs and manufactures custom products for museums, using existing materials or current posters. Whether notebooks, planners, notepads or creative objects: Each piece is handmade and reflects the identity of the museum.

Thanks to artisanal production, small editions are also possible. This results in unique products with a story – sustainable, high-quality, and with a special character.
